This policy explains what information All About Hungary (allabouthungary.com) may collect when you visit the site. Please contact us if anything here is unclear.
Who we are
Our website address is https://allabouthungary.com. You can reach us at contact@allabouthungary.com.
Comments
If comments are enabled and you leave one, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to see whether you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible next to it.
Cookies
The site and the services it uses may set cookies. If you leave a comment you can opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies for one year. Logged-in users have login and display cookies. Third-party services such as analytics, advertising and affiliate partners may set their own cookies, as described below.
Analytics and advertising
We may use analytics tools to understand how the site is used, and we may show advertising or travel widgets supplied by partners. These providers may collect data such as your IP address, device information and pages visited, and may use cookies. Please see each provider’s own privacy policy for details.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy or book through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate partners may use cookies to record that you came from our site.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles may include embedded content such as videos, maps or images. Embedded content behaves as if you had visited the other website, and that site may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with the content.
How long we keep your data
Comments and their metadata are kept so that follow-up comments can be recognised. Registered users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time, except their username. Administrators can also see and edit it.
Your rights
If you have an account or have left comments, you can ask for an export of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to erase it, except where we must keep it for administrative, legal or security reasons. Contact contact@allabouthungary.com.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked by an automated spam detection service.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Check this page for the latest version.
